Holiday Scheme Staff £12.59 per hour 22nd July - 9th August Locations: Ballymena, Carrickfergus & Larne Main Purpose of the Role: Support the Scheme Coordinators to ensure the delivery of a fun, educational and stimulating programme of activities. Work in partnership with the professional coaches and trainers to deliver a programme of events! Job Duties: Assist in the development & implementation of supervised indoor & outdoor activities (including day trips). Assist in the preparation of resources and materials for the scheme Ensure participants are supervised and engaged at all times while communicating with caregivers / parents in relation to any queries in a professional manner. Ensure the premises are kept clean and tidy at all times and ensure all records are kept up to date. You will have: Have a minimum of Entry Level Essential Skills ans Qualifications in Adult Literacy and Adult Numeracy. AND A coaching qualification in sport(s) – Minimum of Level 1 or physical education/teaching, teaching assistant or youth work qualification. AND Previous experience working in Holiday Schemes/Programmes/classroom environments and/or experience in assisting in the development and implementation of a large-scale activity events. Understanding of the responsibilities and practical aspects of working with children/young people A full current driving licence valid in the UK and access to a vehicle OR have access to a form of transport that enables you to carry out the duties of the post 1 . In addition to the standard pre-employment checks, this position will also be subject to receipt of a satisfactory Enhanced with the Barred List Access (NI) check, in accordance with Access NI Code of Practice.
