The organisationIn this Homeless Service Team Leader opportunity in Birmingham, you will join a charity helping young people, between the ages of 16-25, gain access to temporary accommodation as a result of being homeless The role Is to help manage a group of front line workers and deal with the day to day management as well as picking up a small case load.
Key responsibilities of a Homeless Service Team Leader- You will be responsible for team management for front line workers - dealing with rotas / supervision / ensuring health and safety on site
- Being the mediator between management and front line workers
- Dealing with complaints
- Attending meetings regarding budgets / rents / implementing new housing legislation
- Proven track record of working In a Senior / Team Leaders role
- Experience of working on a Homeless / Mental Health / Substance Misuse service is essential
- Flexible to work days/evenings/weekends and on call throughout the week
- Holds an enhanced DBS child and adult cleared - Issued In the last 12 months or on the update service
