Hospital Cashier Officer

Hospital Cashier Officer required to work with our client, Southern Health & Social Care Trust. The post will be based in Daisy HillHospital with cover in Craigavon Area Hospital. This role will start immediately with a pay rate of £11.11 per hour, working 9am –5pm Monday to Friday.

This role is initially for 3 months with a possibility of extension.The successful candidate will support the Accounts Receivable Shared Services centre and provide a cashier service on the hospitalsites as well as assist in the recovery and recording of Trust income.

What The Job Entails:

• Assist in the recovery of Trust income, including calculating amounts due and generating invoices
• Receive, receipt and record remittances made to the Trust including cash, cheques, electronic transfer
• Input transactions accurately to all systems including Accounts Receivable within the Finance Procurement & Logistics system
• Assist the Team Leader in preparing lodgements, including counting cash/cheques and reconciling to recorded receipts
• Investigate and appropriately resolve any discrepancies or queries relating to transactions

What We Need from You:

• 4 GCSEs at Grade C or above to include English and Maths
• 1 years’ experience in a finance/ administrative role
• Experience using MS Office
• Full clean driving licence and access to own car
