Hospital Manager – Leading Private Healthcare Provider  

£55,000 - £60,000 per annum

Compass Associates are proud to be representing a leading nationwide healthcare company in their search for a Hospital Manager.

Reporting directly to the Regional Head of Operations, you will take responsibility for the operational and commercial management of the site. You will be responsible for driving referrals and securing contracts in addition to overseeing the day-to-day operations of the site are running smoothly. In terms of structure you will oversee the hospital’s clinical lead who will support with CQC preparation for inspections and driving clinical excellence at your hospital. You will also be required to be the CQC registered manager for the site. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced healthcare manager to work for a leading organisation.

The Candidate

• The postholder will preferably come from a healthcare background and have experience of managing a service with leadership and people management experience.
   
• You will be required to have proven success in business development and strong commercially to achieve and deliver on the business plans EBITDA.
   
• You will have a track record of maximising operational efficiency in all aspects of the hospital, and achievement in managing, leading and developing healthcare teams within the private sector.
   
• Leading the team, you will drive clinical excellence to ensure the best patient care is given through guaranteeing adherence to practice standards, departmental policies and procedures, and CQC regulations. 
   
• You will be the CQC Registered Manager for this site, so a sound knowledge and understanding of standards and regulations will be beneficial.
   
• You must have strong communication skills with the ability to work well with people of all levels and able to manage both clinical and non-clinical staff.

Minimum Requirements

• Experience as an strong operator in a healthcare business
• Evidence of stakeholder management
• Strong commercially – Able to build business and secure contracts
• Preferably someone who has led CQC inspection
• Experience as CQC Registered Manager (Desirable)
• Needs to be a strong people leader
• Experience in KPI based management

Salary & Benefits

• Salary is between £55,000 - £60,000 depending on experience
