We are recruiting exclusively for an experienced Financial Controller for a recognised 4* Hotel based in the Leicester area. Our client will consider candidates who are part qualified/qualified or QBE and who have Hotel experience. This is a 4 day a week role and pays up to £60,000.
Job Title: Financial Controller
Duties:
- Report and reconcile daily revenue, prepare daily, management information for the hotel.
- Prepare monthly management accounts
- Variance analysis
- Accruals and prepayments
- Liaise with all HOD’s regarding departmental P&L’s, gross profit
- Ensure all balance sheet accounts are reconciled
- Prepare VAT returns, National Statistics and year end payroll
- Budgeting
- Accounting year end
- Fixed assets
- Audit of daily revenue
- Responsible for payroll processing
- Report payroll costs by department
- Ensure credit control is in place to collect debts in line with company policy.
- Cash flow forecasts
- To prepare Annual budgets
Candidate Requirements:
- Hotel experience is essential
- Excellent attention to detail with good planning and IT skills
Working hours:
- 9am – 5.30 pm Monday – Friday with flexible working hours if required.
Salary:
