Responsibilities within your new role

• Drive sales efforts to maximise revenue from existing accounts at the hotel level.

• Independently schedule and follow up on sales appointments.

• Collaborate with management to create a sales plan addressing revenue, customers, and market segments.

• Explore new business opportunities in new territories and market segments.

• Utilise company database to target travel agent calls and maintain relationships.

• Assist in developing and implementing promotions.

• Participate in forecasting hotel business mix and revenues.

• Regularly meet with management to communicate customer feedback and competitor insights.

• Oversee updating of rates and promotions on hotel websites, OTAs, and GDS.

• Manage data collection and use of sales software efficiently.

Your personality, experience and qualifications

The successful candidate will demonstrate experience in a similar Group Sales Manager role, within the hotel sector. You must have a drive for achievement and a collaborative decision-making style. You will thrive in fast-paced environments, possess technical expertise, and excel in problem-solving. The ability to inspire and communicate effectively is essential.
