The Ambleside Salutation Hotel & Spa is a small privately owned hotel set in the heart of the English Lake District
The Ambleside Salutation Hotel & Spa (Our Independently Owned and run Hotel is exclusively for residents only) , we are looking for a new team member to join our existing team , in return for your commitment your benefits will be
- CHRISTMAS OFF - Hotel will be Closed from 22nd December reopening 27th December
- £15.00 per Hour Live Out
- £30372.00 a year Live Out
- Straight Shifts (40 hours over 5 days)
- Up to 6 weeks annual holiday

Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the hotel
- Check guests in and out, ensuring a smooth and efficient process
- Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member
- Maintain accurate guest records and handle cash transactions
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and email correspondence
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide exceptional customer service
- Strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Proficiency in using phone systems and other office equipment
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in guest information and transactions
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations with professionalism
Note: Previous experience in a similar role or in the hospitality industry is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.

- Assist with reservations and cancellations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure a smooth guest experience
Requirements:
- Fluent in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in using computer systems and software for reservations and guest management
