Hotel Receptionist
Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and professional Hotel Receptionist to join our team. As a Hotel Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for guests and play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service. Duties:
- Greet guests upon arrival and provide them with information about hotel facilities and services
- Check guests in and out, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and efficiently
- Assist with reservations and room assignments
- Maintain accurate records of guest accounts and transactions
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual
- Provide exceptional customer service by anticipating guest needs and exceeding their expectations
- Handle cash transactions and maintain a balanced cash drawer
- Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Bilingual or multilingual proficiency is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Professional phone etiquette
- Knowledge of hotel operations and procedures is desirable
