Hotel Receptionist

We are looking for a reliable, professional and friendly full/flexi/part-time Receptionist to join our team. We are a 16 bedroom hotel with a very busy reception desk and require a happy face to help us greet & welcome guests, prepare invoices, help with daily banking, answer a hotel & restaurant switchboard, make reservations and answer enquiries politely and efficiently. We pride ourselves on our warm welcome and our attention to detail and would ideally be looking for someone with reception or hospitality experience, with good telephone etiquette, who can converse with, and care for, our guests with confidence whilst multi-tasking and prioritizing a busy reception desk.

We are a very friendly team and gain pleasure from looking after not only our guests, but also each other too - we all help each other and support every department when the business is busy - if a table needs clearing, we clear it, if a bed needs making, we help make it, it's just how we work. Due to our team expanding we are looking for someone who would be happy to embrace this culture and have fun whilst doing so. We don't stand idle, but we do enjoy what we do and everyone has a smile on their face.

We can offer a mixture of daytime (7:30am-3pm) or evening (3-10pm) shifts, working weekends and bank holidays (naturally our busiest times) within a small but very happy team.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Temporary contract

Salary: £10.00-£11.50 per hour

Expected hours: 14 – 30 per week
