Receptionist

A fantastic opportunity has arisen at our countryside, independently owned 4 star hotel to join our friendly team.

The Hotel Receptionist will provide the first and last impression of the hotel, so you have the ability to truly make a guest's stay memorable.

The ideal candidate will have an outgoing, warm and friendly personality with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experience. Experience of a Hotel Reception is required although full training will be given.

We have a full time position available. These are shift-based roles and all applicants must be flexible and able to work evenings and weekends. The full time position is for 40 hours per week with holiday cover additional.

Main duties include :
· Greeting guests upon arrival and making them feel welcomed
· Checking in and out guests
· Providing guests with local insights
· Answering phone and emailing enquiries and assisting with administrative duties
· Liaising with all departments across the hotel
· Daily banking
· Coordinate guests requests with other departments

Experience and skills :

· Friendly and professional manner
· Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
· High standard of personal presentation
· Excellent attention to detail
· Microsoft Word, Excel and general computer knowledge is preferred
