Due to the partnership between Hays and the Sandwell Council we are looking for 5 Housing Services Advisors to join the Housing Management Team on a full time temporary basis. Sandwell Housing Management Service has embarked on a transformation journey to refocus their resources on supporting our tenants to live and prosper in clean and safe neighbourhoods whilst prioritising guidance and support. The position has come about due to a restructure within the team.
Your new role
As a Housing Services Advisor you will provide planning and administrative support to the Tenancy Management Coaches, so that an effective service is in place for managing appointments and the resulting administration work, take responsibility for routine service requests and support tasks as required by the service. You will also have customer interaction by receiving feedback on any issues or conflicts with planning, resolving issues relating to missed appointments. You will also process signups, data input and data extraction.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate should have experience within a similar administration role, excellent communication skills, strong ability to deal with complex issues, knowledge and experience of housing management functions, as well as the ability to work in a demanding environment. Staff will be required to fill the full contractual period of 3 months with the possibility of extension. Please apply with no notice period as this role is an immediate start.
