HR Administrative Assistant

- Contract 12 Months (Inside IR35)
- Rate PAYE or Umbrella (competitive based on experience)

We are seeking a proactive and organised individual to join our team as a HR Administrator. In this role, you will provide vital administrative support to our HR function, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to regulatory requirements. Your responsibilities will include maintaining employee records, updating HR systems, producing reports, supporting HR projects and upholding health and safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess a good level of administrative skills, effective communication abilities, and a strong understanding of office procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general administrative support to the HR function
- Maintain accurate employee records and personal documents in compliance with GDPR and other relevant legislation
- Update and maintain information on HR software systems and archives
- Support the production of reporting data as per the reporting calendar and provide ad hoc reports as needed
- Provide administrative support for business wide HR projects and initiatives
- Ensure the highest standards of health and safety are maintained in HR related activities
- Assist the HR Director in achieving high levels of information assurance within the HR Operations Team
- Undertake additional administrative duties as assigned, including photocopying, scanning, mailing and filing.
Experience Requirements
- Some experience in a general administrative role, preferably in HR, would be desirable
- Strong administrative skills
- Effective communication skills with internal and external contacts at all levels
- Good understanding of general office practices and procedures
- Proficient in IT applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook and HR systems
- Experience maintaining comprehensive records
- Ability to prioritise workload, manage time effectively and handle conflicting priorities
- Ability to handle confidential information with sensitivity and discretion
Academic Requirements
A good standard of education (e.g., GCSEs or equivalent) inducing Maths and English
