HR & Payroll Administrator
Salary: £24,000 per annum
Hours: 35 hours a week Monday to Friday
Location: Exeter

We currently have an amazing opportunity for a HR & Payroll Administrator to join our teambased at our office in Aperture, Pynes Hill, Exeter in return you will receive a salary of £24,000 per annum and work in asupportive small team.
Hours of work will be 35 hours per week.

What we are looking for:
We are looking for an enthusiastic HR & Payroll Administrator who is methodical, organised, a great communicator and process driven.
The role s main duties are to provide proactive, comprehensive and professional day-to-day HR & Payroll administration, including assisting with the monthly payroll cycle, recruitment, internal communications, maintaining staff records, employee relations and absence.
No day is the same here, we are looking for someone who is adaptable to change and who enjoys a fast-paced environment. The HR & Payroll Administrators main duties will entail:
- Administration of the Employee lifecycle
- Administrating the end-to-end recruitment and onboarding process which includes processing recruitment requests, communicating to and providing a consistent amazing experience to all candidates, keeping managers informed of the progress of their candidates through the recruitment process.
- Supporting the Payroll Officer with the monthly Payroll cycle including deputising where required.
- Being the first point of contact for queries and escalating where needed.
- Responsibility for the HR & Payroll Mailboxes, answering queries in a timely manner and escalating queries where required.
- Administering the offer process, verbally offering to new hires, including applying for references and DBS clearance, contracts of employment, opening new employee files and tracking return of documents.
- Accurate filing of all HR paperwork.
- To have the ability to take notes in a meeting
- Support to the wider HR team where and when required
- Working cross site for HR visibility
- Support with internal communications
Skills and experience we are looking for in our HR & Payroll Administrator
- Experience of using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Working in a confidential environment
- Experience of working in a busy administrative environment
- Experience in using databases to input, maintain personal information
- Experience in delivering high standards of customer service
- Excellent telephone manner
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills
- Able to deal confidently and tactfully with people at all levels
- Able to multi task
- Have a good attention to detail
- Full UK Driving License
- Knowledge of Employment Law/Legislation (Desirable, training provided)
- Knowledge of Payroll (Desirable, training provided)
