Working for a very well established accountancy practice in Newton Abbot.
This role is full time Monday - Friday working hours are Monday - Thursday 8.30am-5pm 30 min lunch and Fridays 8.30am - 1.30pm.
We are looking for an organised and conscientious payroll trainee administrator to complement our successful team. We are looking for longevity of service to enable consistency of contact for our clients, and to enable the candidate to develop their role to a Payroll Assistant, and then potentially a Payroll Client Manager over time.
Your new role
A role for you to undertake training and learn all the skills to have a great career within Payroll.
- Assisting with the processing of weekly, monthly and four weekly payroll
- Dealing with payroll clients queries
- Learning about numerous aspects of employment legislation
- Dealing with pension-auto-enrolment obligations
- Dealing with HMRC
- Dealing with The Pension Regulator
- Assisting with the preparation of Construction Industry Returns
- Deadline management
- Data entry
- Dealing with leavers calculations
What you'll need to succeed
- Ability to clearly and professionally communicate with clients
