Job Description:HR Administrator
Salary: £26,000 per annum
Job Type: Permanent/ Full Time - Working Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00 (Once trained you are able to work from home one day per week)
As HR Administrator you will play a crucial role in attracting, screening, and selecting candidates to meet the organisation's staffing needs. Your primary responsibilities will include on boarding, arranging interviews, screening/interviewing candidates, advertising jobs, conducting right to work checks, and facilitating DBS checks.
Responsibilities:
- On boarding: Facilitate the on boarding process for new hires, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner. Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure new employees are set up for success on their first day.
- Arranging Interviews: Coordinate and schedule interviews for potential candidates, ensuring all parties involved are informed and prepared. Liaise with hiring managers to understand their requirements and preferences for each role.
- Screening/Interviewing Candidates: Conduct initial screenings of CVs and applications to identify potential candidates. Perform thorough interviews to assess candidate's qualifications, skills, and cultural fit. Provide constructive feedback and recommendations to hiring managers.
- Advertising Jobs: Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract a diverse pool of candidates. Write compelling job advertisements and post them on various job boards and social media platforms. Collaborate with marketing and HR teams to enhance the organisation's employer brand.
- Right to Work Checks: Ensure compliance with legal requirements by conducting right to work checks for all candidates. Verify and record necessary documentation to confirm eligibility to work.
- DBS Checks: Coordinate and facilitate Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks for relevant positions. Ensure all checks are completed accurately and within the required time frames. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
Requirements:
- Experience of working within a HR/ Recruitment department
- Good knowledge of recruitment best practice and HR legislation pertaining to recruitment
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Good understanding of recruitment, on boarding and compliance
