About The Role
HR Administrator
Location – Cardiff
Salary – £24,000, based on a 37.5 hour week
Fixed Term Contract for 3 months
We are looking for a HR Administrator to work in our head office based in Pentwyn, Cardiff on a fixed term contract for 3 months. For this role, you will be part of a HR team to support managers and staff with all employee relations issues, as well as support with ensuring all employee related matters are fully compliant from a legal and regulatory perspective.

A day in the life of an HR Administrator with Orbis Education and Care Involves:
- Maintaining and uploading employee records on the HRIS or similar systems
- General Administration, ensuring contract changes and personnel records are up to date
- Monitoring the HR inboxes, responding to basic queries and reference requests, escalating where appropriate
- Supporting with the Compliance of existing colleagues in line with Care Inspectorate Wales regulations
- Responding to all general queries from managers and employees
- Maintaining appropriate confidentiality and adherence to all policies and procedures
To be a successful HR Administrator with Orbis Education and Care, you’ll need:
- 1 year minimum experience in a fast-paced Administration position
- Customer service background preferred
- Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Experience working with Microsoft Office software
- Experience in working as part of a team
- Proven experience of building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Social care and employment law knowledge is preferred
