St Antony’s College, Oxford is recruiting for an experienced HR Administrator. Supporting the HR Manager, you will deliver a professional and efficient HR service, with responsibility for all aspects of HR administration throughout the employee-lifecycle. This is a varied role where you will manage recruitment processes, including drafting and placing job advertisements, arranging interviews, and preparing employment contracts and new starter paperwork. Your duties will also include recording and reporting on sickness absence, maintaining staff records, supporting casework, and providing advice and guidance on a wide range of HR queries. To be successful in your application, you will have previous HR administration experience, strong organisational skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You must have exceptional attention to detail and be able to work accurately at all times. You will need to be able to work with minimal supervision, to manage and prioritise your own workload, and have the judgement to know when to seek help or clarification. An awareness of the requirements of data protection legislation will be essential, along with strong IT skills and a good level of numeracy. A CIPD qualification would be advantageous. This is a part-time position (21 hours per week plus unpaid breaks) and some flexibility regarding the working hours will be possible.
