Role: HR Administrator
Location: Derby, Derbyshire, East Midlands
Type: Permanent - Hybrid working
Salary: up to £22,816
Sellick Partnership are currently looking for a HR Administrator required to work within a public sector organisation on a permanent basis.
The ideal HR Administrator will support the HR Advisors and HR Business Partners in delivering a comprehensive and professional service to all customers in relation to HR Administration tasks. The HR Administrator will be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of effective HR Administration processes and development of the strategies that enable the organisation to meet their strategic objectives.
The HR Administator will be responsible for:
- Processing all monthly payroll items for all employees in line with policy and procedure; meeting payroll deadlines.
- Processing and relevant correspondence for all CoC's within a timely manner
- Inputting and maintaining payroll related trackers (e.g., Maternity, RTW, new starters etc.) with attention to detail and accuracy.
- The creation of employment contracts for changes.
- Filing of any employee related documentation on employee records.
- Inputting and maintenance of DBS data into HRIS, including renewal maintenance.
- Updating and maintaining HRIS with accurate employee information such as but not limited to; personal information, CoC's, probation and Leavers.
- The creation and maintenance of ID Badges and SMART Cards
- Ensuring the maintenance of employee files in line with GDPR, CQC requirements and best practice.
- Updating monthly appraisal reports and distributing to relevant People & Culture Partners and operational management.
- Accurate verification, recording and collation of ID documentation.
- Providing support across People & Culture, Organisational Design and Talent Acquisition teams at times of high volumes of work.
- Providing accurate information to managers and or employees in relation to terms and conditions when required.
- Collating and providing data/reports from HRIS as and when required.
- Undertake/and or assist with ad hoc People & Culture projects when the need arises, such as but not limited to CQC audits, TUPE, or Management of change (MOC)
- Maintenance of People & Culture Mailboxes, answering queries consistently and in a timely manner.
- Supporting People & Culture Advisors with non-complex casework, within remit of abilities and capacity where required
- Responsible for responding to general People & Culture queries from managers and staff by e-mail, phone or in person; providing professional, accurate, consistent, and timely responses.
- Escalating concerns to People & Culture seniors when required.
- Accurate and consistent generation of general correspondence, including letters, minutes, emails, and reports.
- Filing, photocopying, scanning and general administration duties as required

The HR Administrator will ideally:
- Be experienced within the public sector
- Be qualified to CIPD Level 3 or working towards CIPD Level 3
- Be an experienced Administator
- Have knowledge of GDPR, inputting data and data management
The HR Administrator will need to have excellent communication skills and effectively be able to communicate to stakeholders of all levels. Furthermore, the ideal candidate will have an impeccable eye for detail and accuracy to ensure all workload is carried out effectively and efficiently. They will also need to able to prioritise their workload and be efficient and effective to meet unpredictable deadlines and deal with conflicting demands, whilst working in a high-pressured environment.
