Adecco Engineering have an exclusive opening for an experienced Generalist HR Advisor to join our client's Head Office based in Hillington.
The successful candidate will support the MD, Senior Management and Department Team leaders.
Our client has been established for 20 years and has subsidiary businesses specialising in and the Commercial Packaging and IT Services. They are currently expanding with their own manufacturing business in Hillington, who will increasing headcount from 45 to 100 employees over the next 12 months.
Human Resource responsibilities will also extend to the group's distribution centre in Crewe.
Ideal candidates will have performed a similar role in a manufacturing environment and will be suitably qualified with HR Qualification or equivalent.
Duties will include:
Provide HR Generalist Support, advice and best practices to Directors, Senior Management and Team Leaders.
Proactively provide advice and guidance on, and manage employee relations issues; absence, disciplinary, grievance and performance management.
Coaching leaders and managers to enhance performance.
Ensure HR processes are in line with best practice and legislative requirements.
Supporting the development and review of role profiles.
Supporting recruitment campaigns and employee retention.
Carry out Employee onboarding and exit interviews.
Payroll Processing
Key skills and experience:
Experience in a similar generalist HR Advisor role.
Working knowledge of UK Employment Law.
Experience in Manufacturing Environment - desirable
Hold HR Qualification or working towards CIPD or equivalent.
Flexible approach and ability to Prioritise tasks efficiently.
Highly organised and detail oriented, with good administration
Computer software applications; Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint - SAGE Payroll desirable.
