Hr Advisor

Are you ready to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment? We're seeking an HR Advisor to play a crucial role in supporting the growth and development of the HR function, working closely with the HR Manager and L&D Manager.

Responsibilities:

Recruitment:

• Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings and interviews.
• Handle employee onboarding/offboarding, including Experian background checks.
• Support HR integration for acquired businesses.

Management Information:

• Keep HR systems up to date, ensuring accurate records.
• Analyze sickness and starter/leaver information.
• Maintain compliant employee files.
• Prepare HR management information reports.

Employee Relations (ER):

• Be the first point of contact for HR queries and advice.
• Provide HR advice, support, and coaching to managers and employees.
• Lead on ER issues, including investigations and disciplinary actions.

Learning and Development:

• Assist the L&D Manager.
• Support the adoption of new learning initiatives.
• Develop training sessions for effective employee relations practices.
• Assist in the implementation of a new LMS system.

Other:

• Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
• Contribute to HR and company-wide projects.
• Ensure legal compliance in HR activities.
• Stay up-to-date with employment laws and regulations.
• Support in the development of HR systems.

Person Specification:

• Experience in advising and coaching on employee relations matters.
• HR Generalist experience.
• Strong understanding of employment law.
• Stakeholder partnering experience.
• Attention to detail.
• Computer literate (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint).
• Ability to grasp and improve system functionality.
• Excellent organization and prioritization skills.
• Independent thinking and application of logic.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience within a financial services company (desirable).

Package:

• Salary: £35,000-40,000
• Hybrid working with flexibility.
• Location: Sheffield.
