Responsibilities:
Recruitment:
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings and interviews.
- Handle employee onboarding/offboarding, including Experian background checks.
- Support HR integration for acquired businesses.
Management Information:
- Keep HR systems up to date, ensuring accurate records.
- Analyze sickness and starter/leaver information.
- Maintain compliant employee files.
- Prepare HR management information reports.
Employee Relations (ER):
- Be the first point of contact for HR queries and advice.
- Provide HR advice, support, and coaching to managers and employees.
- Lead on ER issues, including investigations and disciplinary actions.
Learning and Development:
- Assist the L&D Manager.
- Support the adoption of new learning initiatives.
- Develop training sessions for effective employee relations practices.
- Assist in the implementation of a new LMS system.
Other:
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Contribute to HR and company-wide projects.
- Ensure legal compliance in HR activities.
- Stay up-to-date with employment laws and regulations.
- Support in the development of HR systems.
Person Specification:
- Experience in advising and coaching on employee relations matters.
- HR Generalist experience.
- Strong understanding of employment law.
- Stakeholder partnering experience.
- Attention to detail.
- Computer literate (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint).
- Ability to grasp and improve system functionality.
- Excellent organization and prioritization skills.
- Independent thinking and application of logic.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience within a financial services company (desirable).
Package:
- Salary: £35,000-40,000
- Hybrid working with flexibility.
