This well-respected independent government body is looking to recruit an HR Advisor to provide effective support to the organisation, advising managers and employees on HR processes relating to the full employee lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities of the HR Advisor:
- Provide effective guidance on employee relations issues, including disciplinaries and absence management.
- Support the recruitment function end-to-end including sourcing candidates directly and in conjunction with agencies, and supporting interview processes.
- Respond to a wide range of HR queries and requests for advice on policies and best practice, including on maternity/parenting processes and any compensation/benefits policies.
- Support the management of exit processes and contribute to the oversight of long-term sickness cases and other health and wellbeing activities.
- Advise colleagues and managers in facilitating the resolution of any conflicts.
- Complete ad-hoc assignments and separate projects as required.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
- Educated to degree standard, or equivalent professional experience.
- Demonstrable experience in a hands-on HR role, with practical knowledge of HR laws and practices.
- Attentive to detail, with the ability to prioritise work effectively.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly numerate with the ability to gather and use data accurately.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
Salary and Benefits:
- c£17.50 to c£19.00 per hour.
- Full time, temporary position, due to start ASAP and last for approximately 3 months.
- Based in Central London office, with provision for remote working.
