HR AdvisorNuneaton, Warwickshire with travel to 5 other sitesc£40k plus company carThe HR Advisor will assist the HR Manager providing human resources support and consultation across the business to support c500 staff.* recruitment, performance management, compensation and rewards, staff relations and people development.The HR Advisor will be responsible for:* Be a point of contact for Depot Managers on all HR topics and UK employment law in conjunction with the HR Manager and HR Co-ordinator* Maintain a hands-on approach to all administrative tasks related to employment. This includes but is not limited to: job offers, employee contracts, recruitment, terminations, letters* Support all employee life-cycle processes: onboarding, performance review cycle, annual salary review, bonus, offboarding* Support the development, implementation and amendment of employment policies and procedures relevant to business needs* Support with employee relations in relation to performance management, disciplinaries, grievances, welfare reviews and occupational health referrals* Support with recruitment, retention and staff welfare* Maintain updated personnel records and changes in Workday* Assist with the co-ordination of payroll administration and employee benefits as required* Produce HR reports as requested for example Gender Pay Gap, Headcount, Absence rates etc.* Assist with HR related projectsThe ideal HR Advisor will be:* Level 5 CIPD qualified* 5 years + of relevant experience in a similar role, ideally in a fast-paced environment* Experience of working with blue collar workforce* Able to communicate effectively and professionally at all levels.* A good knowledge of employment law and company policies* An approachable and compassionate nature* Able to listen to problems and respect employee confidentiality* A confident and assertive manner* A fair and objective approach to all situations* Able to act as a mediator when staff conflicts or difficult situations ariseThey are moving to Prologis Park (CV6) in Coventry later in 2024, so please consider this when applying.
