You'll work as part of our Logistics function, based in Hatfield, covering 5 distribution centres in the South East of England. Employing over 1,500 Logistics colleagues, we are the distribution arm of Greencore, delivering convenience products, direct to customers in every postcode in Great Britain.
As a HR Advisor you will provide a client focused, comprehensive and professional people service to colleagues and managers by maintaining and developing processes, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
Key responsibilities:
- Partner with Managers and HR colleagues to help drive engagement and D&I practices, ensuring that we create an environment where colleagues can thrive
- Support Managers and colleagues with career conversations and the formulation of development plans, to help build a strong talent pipeline
- Advise and provide support to managers to ensure the correct procedures are followed in carrying out disciplinary / grievance / attendance / performance improvement investigations and hearings
- Champion the colleague engagement agenda through pro-active delivery of annual engagement plan and activity around the People at the core survey
- Act on relevant HR key performance indicator information in a timely manner itemising trends in order to drive and improve business performance.
- Help deliver training to build capability across the business area of responsibility.
- Work closely with and deputise for the Senior HR Representative for the Region, with a view to providing future succession
- CIPD qualified or working towards HR qualification
- Experience of working within a generalist Human Resources function
- Current and up to date knowledge of employment legislation
- Experience of working with a variety of stakeholders inside and outside of your function
