As an HR Advisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting a Change Management project. This project involves navigating redundancy processes and conducting employee consultations. You'll collaborate closely with our HR team, managers, and employees to ensure a smooth transition during this critical phase.
Key Responsibilities:
- Redundancy Consultations:
- Facilitate individual and group consultations with affected employees.
- Explain the reasons behind potential redundancies and provide clarity on the process.
- Address initial questions and concerns from employees.
- Policy Application:
- Advise on the practical application of HR policies and procedures.
- Cover areas such as recruitment, selection, discipline, grievance, and absence management.
- Ensure policies are legally compliant and aligned with business needs.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with the HR Manager to review and update HR policies.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on your expertise.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience as an HR Advisor or similar role.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with redundancy processes and employee consultations.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive conversations with empathy.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
The offer
Interim contract on a fixed term contract for 5 months +
Hybrid / with site meeting in Eastleigh/Southampton
Full time, but possible to consider 4 days per week.
