As a Temporary HR Advisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining positive employee relations within the organisation. Your focus will be on ensuring that employees are engaged, motivated, and satisfied with their work environment. This position requires expertise in handling employee complaints, grievances, and conflicts, as well as implementing strategies to improve overall employee morale and productivity.
Location: Work from home but will need to work on site at our colleges in Ipswich and Bury St Edmunds as and when needed (normally our team are on site twice a week).
Hours: Full-time Monday-Friday
Salary: 26k-31k FTE
You must have a full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
Responsibilities:
Employee Relations Management:
- Act as a point of contact for employees, addressing their concerns, grievances, and queries related to HR policies.
- Facilitate effective communication between management and employees to promote a positive work environment.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and participate in the recruitment process.
Policy Development and Implementation:
- Review and update job descriptions to ensure accuracy and alignment with organisational needs.
- Assist in developing recruitment campaigns and coordinating the appointment process for successful applicants.
- Monitor key recruitment metrics, such as turnover and retention rates.
- Negotiate terms and conditions of employment with staff.
