HR Advisor – Stocksbridge - £33,000 - £37,000 Chase & Holland are excited to be with an innovative business who are currently going through a strong period of growth and are looking to recruit a HR Advisor to join their friendly team. Reporting to the HR Business Partner You will provide a HR generalist, operational service for two business units the local area. There will also be opportunities to support and work on various People and HR related projects. - Advising and guiding people managers on issues related to employee relations including advising and notetaking at disciplinary, grievances, appeals etc
- Providing guidance and advice to managers and employees on HR policies and procedures, in line with current UK legislation, ensuring that good practice is consistently followed
- Consulting with the relevant OH provider as well as line managers to ensure effective management of long-term absence
- Providing support to the HR Business Partner
- Assisting in the delivery of the Human Resource Strategy
- Providing generalist HR advice to Line Managers.
- Being the main point of contact for all HR queries for your area of responsibility
- Experience working in a Generalist HR Advisor role, preferably within a manufacturing environment
- A degree or CIPD level 5, as a minimum or have equivalent qualifications
- Strong knowledge of ER policies and UK employment law
- Previous experience of working Trade Unions would be desirable.
