Andersen James are working on behalf of a national specialist services contractor, who have a large direct field-based engineering workforce across multiple divisions. Due to this, they are looking to appoint an Employee Relations HR Advisor to handle this workforce.
Reporting to the HR Lead, your responsibilities will include:-
- Advising managers on disciplinary, grievance, and absence issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies.
- You will investigate complex employee relations cases & prepare management reports
- Provide training to line managers on employee relations best practices is essential.
You must have previous experience in managing HR employee relations cases and a good understanding of UK employment law.
Excellent communication, negotiation and advisory skills are vital, as is the ability to build effective working relationships across the business. CIPD qualification or equivalent HR experience is required. Some travel to regional sites nationwide will be expected.
