My client is seeking an HR Advisor to provide comprehensive HR support across their company. This pivotal role involves offering expert advice, ensuring legal compliance, and fostering a positive employee relations environment. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in guiding managers, directors, and employees through various HR processes and policies.
Day to Day of the role:- Advise managers, directors, and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Assist with the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, candidate screening, and interviews.
- Coordinate onboarding and induction for new employees to ensure a seamless integration into the company.
- Address employee relations issues, such as disciplinary and grievance procedures, in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Manage HR systems and databases to maintain accurate and current employee records.
- Offer support on employee benefits, payroll queries, and other HR-related inquiries.
- Generate reports on employee data, such as retention rates, attendance, sickness absence, and training.
- Collaborate with the Group HR Director to develop and revise policies and procedures to align with best practices and employment legislation.
- Organise HR events and meetings, ensuring they are executed smoothly.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to staff, maintaining confidentiality and sensitivity in all interactions.
- Undertake additional ad hoc requests and projects as directed by the Group HR Director.
- Proven experience as an HR Advisor or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Proficient in HR systems and database management.
- Experience in handling recruitment and employee relations issues.
- Ability to produce accurate reports and data analysis.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and project management.
