Robertson Bell are excited to be supporting a complex SME organisation who are currently growing and looking to recruit their new HR Advisorbased in Portsmouth. This is a hybrid role, typically requiring two days per week in the office.
Our client is undergoing a period of significant growth, making this an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate individual who has the desire and drive to innovate in all aspects of employee relations, to further develop a people-focus culture within the business.
The key duties of this HR Advisor role are as follows:
- Provide timely day to day HR advice and support to managers and team members on a range of employment matters including absence management, performance management, disciplinary and grievance procedures and employee relations
- Maintain accurate and current case log within the HR system
- Support the HR Manager in delivering a range of HR initiatives, including employee engagement and talent management
- Support the HR Administration team with escalations and complex queries in the HR function inbox

The successful HR Advisor will have:
- Previous experience in a HR role
- Experience in managing employee relations (ER) issues
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise
- Has good case management skills and seeing issues through to conclusion
- A self-starter with the ability to work independently using their own initiative
- Has strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to provide engaging communications
- Good attention to detail ensuring high levels of accuracy
