Dulwich Prep London is an exciting place to work. With around 810 pupils, it is the largest boys’ preparatory school in the UK and is situated in one of the most beautiful parts of the most cosmopolitan city in the world.
We’re seeking to appoint a motivated and responsive team player to assist and support our HR team with the administration of the employment lifecycle. The HR Assistant will maintain the HR recruitment systems, create and update confidential HR records, and ensure communication with our Payroll team is timely and seamless. They will get involved in all stages of the recruitment cycle for the School, including advertising vacancies and interviewing for the School’s Holiday Clubs and Gap roles.
The successful candidate will possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, have a good understanding of the importance of confidentiality and Data Protection Act 2018 GDPR, and will be able to demonstrate an excellent level of computer literacy with programs, including Microsoft 365 and software systems (HR Database). Experience of working within a busy office and HR environment, preferably in a school or educational setting, is desirable. Having a HR qualification would be an advantage.
The working hours are 8.30am to 4.30pm or 9.00am to 5.00pm (Monday to Friday) with a one-hour lunch break, all year round, and the role is normally based at the school’s premises. However, we would be open to discussion about more flexible working arrangements.
