In this unique and exciting role, you will be offered the opportunity to work for some of the most prestigious cultural and sporting venues in the UK. In addition to this, one day a week you will be based at Ascot Racecourse, one of the most iconic and distinguished racecourses in the world. This is a 9-month fixed term contract working hybrid from home and venues in the South of the UK. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIESAs the HR Business Partner for Sodexo Live!, you will work alongside the business leaders and the HR Director to drive and deliver HR solutions that will maximize people performance, strategy, workforce planning, and develop a HR community of best practice that significantly contributes to strengthening business performance. You will also work alongside key stakeholders in supporting the recruitment, retention, and management of a large casual workforce. In addition, you will support business development activities within the segment to help achieve the focus on the growth agenda. Key focus areas:HR StrategyHR Planning & Business DevelopmentCasual WorkersResourcing, Recruitment and On-boardingRetention, Talent Management and Succession PlanningL&D THE IDEAL CANDIDATEYou will be educated to degree level, CIPD qualified or qualified by experience and have experience of managing and supporting a large volume casual workforce. You will have experience of providing advice and guidance to staffing teams and site managers in relation to any worker issues raised in the business area.Extensive HR generalist experience and detailed understanding of all aspects of HR Management including reward, payroll, resourcing, talent management/succession planning, change management and employee relations is essential. Although the role is hybrid you must be willing to travel to venues and support Royal Ascot, one of the most anticipated events in the horse racing calendar.You will also have: Proven experience in working in a matrix organisation and building diverse teams.Strong understand of HR best practices and employment law.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer focused environment.Excellent communication, influencing, coaching and facilitation skills.Strong IT skills and an aptitude to learning and operating HR systems.Developed client relationship management skills.Professional and commercial acumen, with strong influencing and stakeholder management skills. Experience of working in the hospitality industry would be an advantage but not essential.
