TEESSIDE (Ref 633) 12 month FTC

up to £50k + bonus

The role is FTC for 12 months maternity leave cover but with a difference, as there’s a huge opportunity to support the Head of HR to deliver some key objectives.

What’s involved:

  • Generalist role covering all aspects of employee lifecycle - mix of transactional, improvement of ways of working and delivery of the people plan
  • During 12 months there will be a strong emphasis on engagement, people development and culture
  • 'Go to’ person for both local sites and trusted partner to SLT
  • Supporting employee engagement activities to develop and enhance EVP
  • Supporting talent agenda
  • Utilising HRIS to ensure HR drive and own people metrics
  • Overseeing all employee relations practices and processes and supporting and advising on ER cases
  • Supporting and coaching managers with HR related queries
  • Supporting the development of a high performing team and culture through embedding new values and developing colleague engagement strategies
  • Ensure the new performance management process utilising the HRIS system for performance and development reviews is understood and embedded

Ideal person:

  • Self-starter, a "do’er" who can use their own initiative, identify areas for improvement, make suggestions and recommendations and implement them
  • Experience of manufacturing or logistics or distribution is desirable
  • Experience of recruitment, employee engagement, talent and development
  • Knowledge of all areas of current employment law
  • Familiar with HRIS and MS suite
  • Strong stakeholder engagement experience
