Working Hours: Part-time, 18.5 hours per week
Pay Rate: 22.51 per hour (PAYE)
We are seeking a skilled HR and OD Business Partner to join a Local Authority to provide expert human resources and organisational development support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary HR contact, providing advice and guidance to managers and employees.
- Support managers in disciplinary investigations, hearings, sickness meetings, performance reviews, and other procedures.
- Liaise with County HR services for escalated cases, ensuring comprehensive support and resolution.
- Assist in developing and improving HR processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Skills and Experience:
- CIPD Level 7 qualification.
- Up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation and best HR practices.
- Recent experience in an HR generalist or similar role, offering proactive, solutions-focused advice.
- Proven track record of developing and improving HR processes.
- Experience in job evaluation and related HR functions.
- Previous HR experience within local government or a similar environment is highly desirable.
