Senior People Partner – Cheltenham – hybrid - £70-75k + Excellent Benefits

Proud to have been retained by this client in the Tech / SaaS space, AW Media Recruitment are looking to appoint a newly created Senior HR Business Partner into the team. We are looking for a trusted Partner and employee champion to support the business through growth across the UK, Berlin & Chicago.
This newly created role will support the established Head of HR to define and execute the global People Strategy, whilst having the support of a super organised HR Assistant and a newly recruited TA Partner.
The business currently has a headcount of around 110 full time employees with growth plans to be 170 by the end of 2024. This is an incredibly exciting time to join this agile and fast paced organisation going through growth, change & transformation. We are now building out the People team and this is the first stage of growth.
We are on the search for a people centric Business Partner, with a solid people over process mentality. You will be looking to take ownership of a people function, being able to showcase your extensive HR expertise and knowledge in an organisation who truly put the people at the very heart and forefront of their business.
This is an integral role and an incredibly important hire for the business and we are looking for candidates who have experience in developing and executing people strategies that drive engagement, performance, and retention. Working alongside the Head of People to create and deliver the people agenda in line with business strategy. There are lots of projects to get your teeth into this year, from aligning the HR Systems, to building and rolling out an EDI strategy, reviewing the current benefits package to allow more flexibility for all. Transitioning the annual review process to an ongoing continuous performance appraisal. And most importantly, building out a high performing culture. You will lead on organisational change initiatives and guide the company through periods of growth and transformation.
It is important you have the confidence and ability to coach managers to build high-performing teams. Whilst having solid exposure to complex employee relations issues, with high level of knowledge of UK employment law. US and European employment law knowledge would also be a huge advantage.
Working closely with the newly appointed Talent Acquisition lead to attract and retain top talent, you will provide strategic guidance on workforce planning, talent management, and succession planning. Ensuring you foster a culture of continuous feedback, learning, and innovation.
What do we need from you:
💥Experienced HR Business Partner with a blend of both Operational & Strategic expertise
📍Experience in employee relations, performance management, and talent development
🤝 An exceptional relationship builder and effective partner to the leadership team
🛎 A clear understanding of how to deliver a people strategy
👨👨👧👧 People over Process Mentality
🇬🇧 Strong Understanding of UK employment Law (US & EU – hugely advantageous)
🙌 A hands on approach in a fast-paced agile environment
🚀Experience of working in a Tech / SaaS business
🌐 Experience of successfully supporting international teams, particularly in Europe and the US would be ideal.
💥 5+ years of HR Business Partner experience in fast-paced, high-growth SaaS or technology environments
📚 CIPD qualification or equivalent
