Interim Senior HR Business Partner - East London - £39.70 an Hour (Umbrella)
An East London Local Authority is seeking a dynamic and experienced HR professional to join as an Interim HR Business Partner. This position, offers a competitive rate of £39.70 per hour (umbrella). As a Senior HR Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of business objectives within your designated service area, contributing to the achievement of the Mayor’s priorities and the Council’s corporate objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the lead point of contact for HR advice, support, and issue resolution for service managers within designated directorates.
- Provide a customer-focused service, collaborating with client departments to effectively manage their people in alignment with service plans.
- Offer guidance and support on HR aspects of change management and reorganisation.
- Contribute to HR & OD projects within the Climate Homes & Economy Directorate.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Strong employee relations skills, with a proven track record of providing HR advice, including the application of judgement to non-standard employee relations cases.
- Understanding of organisational development and its role in managing and developing the workforce.
- Substantial experience in handling the staffing implications of organisational change or changes to terms and conditions.
- Membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (MCIPD) or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience in the Public Sector.
Technical Skills and Knowledge:
- Proven ability to provide professional advice and implement solutions for effective people resource management.
- Demonstrable experience in managing HR aspects of change, reorganisation, and other organisational development initiatives.
