People Change Lead

Contract: 6-monthAnnual Salary: GBP35,000 (pro-rata)Location: Remote with travel across Kent when needed

My client is currently seeking a People Change Lead with specialised experience in managing TUPE (Transfer of Undertakings Protection of Employment) processes for a pivotal project within this charity organisation. This 6-month contract role is ideal for an individual who has a strong background in overseeing change projects, with a particular focus on the legal and people aspects of TUPE transfers.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Lead TUPE-related change management projects, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and a smooth transition for all parties involved.
  • Collaborate with HR and legal teams to manage the transfer of employees, providing clear communication and support throughout the process.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive change management strategies that address the complexities of TUPE.
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement sessions to ensure a shared understanding of the TUPE process and its implications.
  • Design and deliver training and communication plans to support staff and management during the transition.
  • Provide coaching and support to managers and staff, particularly in addressing TUPE-related concerns and queries.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of TUPE change initiatives, making data-driven adjustments to ensure successful outcomes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in leading change management projects with a focus on TUPE within the charity sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of TUPE regulations and experience applying this knowledge in practical, organisational contexts.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.
  • Proven ability to develop and deliver training and communication strategies related to change and TUPE processes.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, changing environment.
  • A collaborative approach to working with diverse teams and stakeholders across the organisation.
