We are working within a highly successful HR Consultancy based in Sunderland to recruit a CIPD-qualified HR professional to join their experienced, supportive team as an HR Consultant.
Main Responsibilities:
- Embrace the diverse HR landscape with hands-on involvement in complex projects, employee relations, resourcing and training
- Take the lead in managing a variety of client issues, ensuring optimal outcomes and strengthening relationships.
- Working as part of a small, dynamic team, collaborating on HR initiatives that make a real difference.
- Fully understand clients' businesses, to provide tailored solutions.
- Deliver timely and compliant advice through various channels, offering excellent client service.
- Conduct on-site visits, handling HR projects such as disciplinary investigations, recruitment interviews, and more.
- Independently manage complex grievance and disciplinary cases
- Undertake detailed project work, producing comprehensive reports to guide client management decisions.
- Draft crucial HR documentation, from offer letters to employment contracts, supporting smooth HR processes.
- Maintain and update client employee handbooks and policies to align with current legislation and internal changes.
- Share your wealth of knowledge with the HR team, fostering continuous professional development.
Requirements:
- CIPD qualified.
- Proven experience as an HR generalist, adept in various areas including complex casework and projects.
- Proficient in conducting detailed investigations and providing effective client-facing communication.
- Comfortable working in a small team, contributing collaboratively to impactful HR solutions.
- Possess a full clean UK driving license and willingness to travel throughout the North East.
Desirable:
- Prior experience in HR consultancy or a client services environment.
This role can be part or full time. Hybrid working. Likely to be 2/3 days in the office which is flexible around business demands and client meetings.
Salary £35,000 - £40,0000 DOE
