Job Title: HR Consultant – Resourcing
Temporary for 12 months.

As we develop our service we are seeking a talented HR consultant to work with our recruitment and resourcing managers to help shape our resourcing offer.
Helping to develop our resourcing model, undertaking market research, developing and analysing HR metrics, implementing and developing resourcing strategies including those linked to equality, diversity and inclusion, and building our employer brand. You will have drive and creative thinking and will embody the values of the Council to help us rethink and reshape our approach to resourcing.
Working closely with our managers to understand their needs, lead recruitment efforts, and implement best practices to attract, select, and retain top talent, the successful candidates will be analytical thinkers and solution orientated with excellent communication skills. A strong commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion is essential.

Full-time employees work 37 hours for 52 weeks of the year and we offer a generous holiday entitlement. We are open to discussions about a wide range of flexible working opportunities which benefit you and the Council, including reduced hour contracts, working part time or as a job share.
If you are appointed to this role, your starting salary will be at the bottom of the grade. If you provide payslip evidence that your basic pay is greater than the bottom of the grade, we will consider starting you at the point of minimum advantage within the grade.
