We are delighted to be supporting a well-known construction company in their search for a HR Data Administrator to join their 16 strong HR team.

The centralised Group HR Team of 16 employees (HR, Organisational Development, Recruitment and Rewards and Benefits) is based in Newcastle upon Tyne at the Group Head Office.
The role of Group HR Data Administrator will ensure that people data and processes are effectively managed and processed to ensure that this supports the delivery of an effective HR service to the business and all employees. This role will also include project work and the provision of HR administrative support.
Principle Accountabilities
- Utilise the HR Information System to maintain and update personnel records, including actioning new starters, leavers, and changes, as well as any benefit changes.
- Working collaboratively with the Payroll Team to ensure that data held in the HR Information System and payroll system are aligned.
- Continuously identify and implement ways to streamline and automate HR processes.
- Generate and collate monthly reports such as absence and employee turnover as well as create ad-hoc reports.
- Support the Group Head of Finance to prepare the monthly payroll return.
- Working alongside the Apprentice HR Administrator, act as the first point of contact for day-to-day advice to employees on general HR related queries, requests and Company policies / procedures via email and telephone.
- Assisting with all employee relations activities, including drafting letters and note taking in meetings.
- Support with inductions of new Head Office staff
- Support with HR team projects as required e.g. health & wellbeing.
- Support with Bellway events e.g. Employee Awards, recruitment fairs etc
- Assist with early careers recruitment including assessment centres.
- Carry out general administration tasks for the HR Department.
