A unique opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join a Southend based facilities management organisation, with over 150 team members, which has seen continued growth during the last 4 years.
Working closely with the Director, Head of Business Development, and stakeholders across the organisation, you will be instrumental in developing and implement the HR plan. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious HR generalist to lead the function and shape the employee value proposition while guiding the leadership team to support and encourage high performance to move the business forward.
This is a hybrid role for 22.5 hours, which combines the flexibility to work from home and the requirement to be office based on days where face to face collaboration and HR meetings make this a necessity. We promote flexible and agile working opportunities.
Key responsibilities will include:
· Responsibility for providing proactive, effective, and efficient HR advice across the entire employee life cycle.
· Proactively partnering with the key stakeholders providing expert advice and guidance on all HR related matters of varying complexity, including disciplinary, appeals and grievances.
· Review and refresh of HR policies, practices, and procedures.
· Creating and delivering management training and development as required.
· Develop and deliver a robust induction and onboarding programme.
· Support the performance management process from probation through to appraisal to identify talent pipeline.
· Supporting Head of Business development to deliver successful TUPE transfers.
· Actively contribute to Senior Leadership meetings to present the progress of the HR function.
You will be an experienced HR professional who has operated at HR management level and who has proven experience in generalist HR, self-driven, pragmatic with a curious attitude.
Ideally you will be:
· CIPD level 5 (essential)
· Able to demonstrate a knowledge of application of employment procedures, practice and employment law in managing complex cases.
· Able to demonstrate an understanding of HR functions, practice, and procedures.
· Adaptable and receptive to new ideas and be willing to adjust to new demands and circumstances.
· Able to inspire trust and confidence in SLT, line managers and colleagues across the organisation.
· A strong communicator, able to influence at all levels.
