SalaryWe are currently partnering with a growing SME based in Brierley Hill, who are recruiting for a standalone HR Manager on a part time (20 hours p/week) basis.
This is a new position for the organisation, so will be crucial in helping them shape their organisational culture and implement policies and procedures to improve employee engagement and wellbeing.
They are able to pay up to £45k FTE and can be flexible with working hours, happy to consider people on a 3-, 4- or 5-day basis.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Being the main point of contact for managers and employees on any HR queries
- Supporting with resolution of employee relations issues, such as disciplinary, grievance and absence management
- Implementing and driving formal performance management and appraisal processes
- Managing the recruitment and onboarding of new staff, including advertising vacancies, supporting with interviews, completing pre-employment checks and supporting with inductions
- Reviewing the benefits offering and promoting this to staff to ensure take-up
- Reviewing and improving HR policies and processes and rolling these out across the business
Experience required:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing/factory floor environment desirable
- Previous experience working within a SME desirable
