Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining the HRIS system
- Managing the new starter process including onboarding, setting up inductions and setting up bank accounts for expats, ensuring they are set up accordingly
- Leading and managing all payroll related matters for expats
- Managing all transfers accordingly from employees immigrating into the country, ensuring all visa and tax details are noted correctly and in line with local legislation
- Supporting on ad-hoc projects and tasks including audit checks
- Fluent in English and Japanese
- Previous experience in a Global Mobility role, or a similar position where you were responsible for managing employees immigrating
- Strong understanding of immigration and tax law in the UK
- Previous experience in a HR Generalist position
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Japanese
