Job Purpose:
Joining Safran Aerosystems Services UK as the Maternity CoverHR Manager, you will play a crucial role in providing HR support to employees and the Executive Committee. Your responsibilities will include managing the full employee HR lifecycle, overseeing training programs, facilitating performance management, handling compensation and benefits, payroll administration, recruitment activities, employee relations, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
Training:
• Manage UK training systems and processes.
• Plan and organize required training, including mandatory regulation training.
• Keep accurate records, ensuring Group training targets are met.
Performance Management:
• Manage the annual performance review process.
• Conduct HR career discussions with employees.
• Record training needs for the annual training plan.
Compensation and Benefits:
• Support annual salary review and bonus campaigns.
• Manage compensation and benefits procedures, ensuring competitiveness.
• Provide advice on new approaches and improvements.
Payroll:
•Oversee the payroll process, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
•Manage payroll reports, P60 process, and pension contributions.
•Liaise with the CFO for final checks and HMRC submissions.
Recruitment:
• Manage all recruitment activities for permanent and temporary staff.
• Ensure positions are defined and authorized correctly.
• Promote internal mobility and maintain job descriptions
Employee Relations:
• Assist managers with employee disputes and issues.
• Onboard new employees and ensure effective inductions.
• Manage absence processes, exit interviews, and employee retention.
HR Systems and Reporting:
•Manage HR systems, ensuring data is up to date.
•Run reports for payroll and KPIs.
•Complete all HR KPIs and provide reports as required.
HR Policies and Procedures:
•Stay up to date on UK employment law and best practices.
•Ensure Safran policies are maintained and updated regularly.
•Implement new policies as necessary.
UK and Group HR:
•Play an active part in the UK HR Network and attend relevant meetings.
•Roll out Safran HR roadmap and adhere to group standards.
•Participate in internal and external audits.
HR Administration:
•Ensure all administration complies with UK Data Protection requirements.
•Maintain employee databases and records.
•Manage spreadsheets and produce letters for salary reviews and bonuses.
Person Specification:
•Minimum CIPD Level 5
•Previous HR Experience
•Previous management experience is desirable
•Strong Communication Skills (both written and verbal)
•Fluent in English Language
•Highly organized, self-starter, able to work independently and within the team
•Previous experience running UK payroll (ADP)
•Strong understanding of UK Employment Legislation
•Experience dealing with Employee Relations issues
•Previous HRIS experience (SAP Success Factors system)
