This is a site based role that offers some flexibility including early finish every Friday. The site is commutable from Barton-upon-Humber, Brigg, Gainsborough, Market Rasen, Grimsby, and areas of Doncaster.
Description
- Providing and implementing people management solutions to enhance organisational effectiveness and employee engagement.
- Partnering with the Production management team and the broader management team to drive the talent management agenda.
- Supporting and delivering onboarding, workforce planning, reward & recognition, career progression, engagement, diversity & inclusion, and wellbeing initiatives.
- Managing short and long-term absence management.
- Supporting the preparation of payroll reports.
- Managing the time & attendance and HR system.
- Conducting new starter check-ins and exit interviews with leavers.
- Developing effective relationships with key stakeholders across the Group.
- Supporting, developing, and coaching line managers through employee relations issues, including performance management, absence, grievance, and disciplinary procedures.
- Facilitating core HR processes such as performance calibration, succession planning, talent management, and total compensation review cycles.
- Reviewing and updating the staff handbook, HR policies, and processes to ensure compliance with current legislation.
Profile
- Previous experience working in an HR Generalist/HR Business Partner role, preferably within a construction/manufacturing or fast-paced organisation.
- Ability to meet deadlines and cope with pressure.
- Adept at dealing with conflicting priorities and multiple projects.
- Ability to create, maintain, and develop effective working relationships.
- Up-to-date knowledge of Employment Law.
- High level of attention to detail while working at pace.
- Experience with HR software systems and Time & Attendance systems.
- Experience in preparing payroll.
- Ability to deliver presentations/training.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- CIPD Level 7 or equivalent.
- CIPD Accredited.
