HR Officer
Contract: Part Time Permanent
Hours: 37 hours per week
Working Weeks: 41 weeks per year (term time plus 3 weeks)
Scale 5 Points 9-12
Salary: £25119-£26421 p.a. pro rata (Actual Salary £22594 - £24120 depending on experience)
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, reliable, and capable HR Officer to join and enhance our excellent Trust central HR team based in Chelmsford. As part of the central team, you will provide support and advice to all the schools within the Trust and work with the Trust Operations Manager to develop procedures, systems and processes that align with the Trust values and culture of a supportive and rewarding work environment.
This role will require on-site visits to schools and is advertised as 37 hours per week 41 working weeks per year.
We are looking for someone who:
Has exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Is confident interacting with colleagues of all levels
Has excellent organisational skills
Works well as part of a team as well as working independently using own initiative
Has a good level of computer literacy and competent in Microsoft Office Suite
Has previous HR experience preferable
Has experience of working within schools
Duties are varied and will include:
Assisting with the processing of the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding of new employees to leavers and exit interviews.
Recording and processing confidential information
Maintaining HR systems
Absence management and monitoring, ensuring process and procedures are followed.
