ROLE: Temporary HR Officer - Part time - Immediate start!

LOCATION: Staines, with free onsite parking

HOURLY RATE: up to GBP18ph, depending on experience

HOURS: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5.00pm

DURATION: Ongoing

They are looking for a dynamic HR Officer, in a Part time position, who will play a pivotal role in steering all aspects of HR processes, from employee relations, disciplinary procedures, and absence management. Ensure HR policies align with legal requirements and contribute to the continuous improvement of HR functions. This will be an on going temporary position.Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Head of HR with employee relations
  • Attending disciplinary/grievance meetings, and advertising managers on company policy's
  • Take accurate minutes and represent HR at meetings when required, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
  • Monitor and manage monthly absence, collaborating with managers on absence management strategies
  • Collaborate with the Head of HR to review and implement HR policies and procedures, keeping them compliant and effective
  • Produce, manage, and analyse HR KPIs monthly, ensuring compliance and spotting key trends
  • Keep the HR system ADP up to date with any employee changes, maintaining GDPR compliance for all employee information
  • Manage the HR inboxes and assisting managers with queries and quesitons

Qualifications and Skills:

  • You are a user of ADP in the last year
  • Have extensive experience with Employee Relations and managing employee cases
  • A thorough understanding and knowledge of Employment Law
  • Experience in employee relations and minute taking
  • Competent user of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • It is desirable that you are a driver with your own car, but it is not essential
  • Excellent communicator, experience working with different levels within a business
