Hr Operations Manager

Adecco are proud to be working in partnership with a proactive and innovative Education provider to recruit a HR Operations Manager on a fixed term contract basis for 9 months.

Location: Worcester, hybrid working available

Salary: £37,000-£41,700k

You will be instrumental in leading the HR Operations team to deliver a high-quality, responsive HR service to all employees and managers. You will provide advice and guidance across the full employee lifecycle including employment contracts and terms and conditions of employment.

Overview of the Role

• Lead and coach a team of HR Administrators, offering advice and guidance to support their development.
• Oversee all onboarding checks for new starters, providing guidance to hiring managers regarding immigration requirements, UKVI procedures and certificates of sponsorship/visa requirements.
• Track and monitor probationary periods and sickness absence.
• Oversee the management of all aspects of administration relating to payroll.
• Identify opportunities to drive efficiencies to HR processes and improve service delivery.
• Providing advice in relation to all people related matters including contracts and terms and conditions of employment.
• Ensure all contracts of employment and associated paperwork reflect appropriate terms and conditions relevant to this position and are compliant with current legislation.
• Monitor and maintain accurate records of fixed term contracts and provide managers with timely information to inform end of contract decisions and consultation.

Candidate Requirements

• Demonstrable experience in a HR Operations or Shared Services role preferable within a large complex environment.
• Experience of working with a wide range of employment contracts and terms and conditions of employment.
• Previous experience managing and coaching HR teams.
• Ability to manage a complex and demanding workload and to manage changing priorities.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to develop effective working relationships with stakeholders.
• CIPD qualified and educated to degree level or equivalent.
