Purpose of job:
HR System Analyst (Dynamics D365F&O) is a newly created role, designed to oversee the configuration, development, improvement, and support of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 finance and operations system used by the firms HR team. The role will work closely with the business stakeholders, IT team, and external vendors to ensure the system meets the business needs and delivers value.
- Engage with HR team to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications for the Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O system.
- Working with the HR team to facilitate application configuration changes, workflows and enhancements in line with business needs to drive efficiencies.
- Define and manage best practice methodologies for application developments and solution management across the F&O environment in conjunction with the firm’s IT team and third-party support company.
- Working with the firm’s technology team, within their change advisory board (CAB), take responsibility for change management for Dynamics F&O environment, including patch installation, software deployment, security changes and data alterations to ensure that the effect of a change on the business as a whole is minimised.
- Adhere to change control policy for all application developments and configurations.
- Deliver HR related reporting – holiday accruals, attrition, month-end, period-end, issue investigation and resolution, reporting, budgeting, scenario analysis.
- Work closely with internal and external development teams on application design changes and issues.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer amongst peers through proactive cross-functional communications and documentation.
- Review and challenge current operational processes and information requirements to ensure optimum use is being made of the Firm’s existing system facilities.
- Support the team and the HR Data and Systems Officer with knowledge of current system.
- Track record in defining, analysing and documenting business and technical requirements (user stories).
- Ability to write clear business documentation, such as: business processes, technical specifications, solution designs, configuration & security protocols, report wireframes and training documents.
