Job description

Role Summary
Acts as HRIS subject matter expert supporting end users to troubleshoot defects and resolve data discrepancies. Supports the HRIS team to enhance functionality for new business requirements and support updates for bi-annual releases. Responsible for performing data analysis to ensure the system is properly recording specific metrics while ensuring information security, testing updates, and improving process efficiency. Supporting HRIS related projects by completing system configuration requirements and documentation for requested enhancements and system changes, including approved changes to business processes, organisation changes, workflows, and security models.
Responsibilities
  • Subject matter expert in HRIS including configuration, support, continuous improvement, and optimisation.
  • Triage, diagnose, and resolve issues in a timely manner originating from end-users and business process events.
  • Maintain and update the HRIS database, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Create and maintain end-user and training documentation and participate in training activities for internal stakeholders.
  • Generate regular and ad-hoc reports from the HRIS and all People related systems to support HR analytics, compliance, and decision-making.
  • Conduct data audits to identify inconsistencies and discrepancies, rectifying them as necessary.
  • Support HRIS projects/integrations through execution of testing and data loads. Ensure project deliverables are fully met through solid system/solution design.
  • Utilise the HRIS system community to build knowledge, develop skills and stay up to date with industry trends.
  • Ensure data privacy requirements are upheld through strong user access management protocols, security design, and operations.
  • Communicates internally with Employees, Managers and Heads of Department.
  • The role requires a high level of confidentiality be maintained.
  • Office based however travel may be required.
Qualifications and Experience
  • College degree in Business / Human Resources / Information Technology field preferred.
  • Previous hands-on experience as an HRIS Systems Analyst (Workday preferred).
  • Hands-on experience as an HRIS Systems Analyst (Workday preferred).
  • Good working knowledge of Office 365 suite.
