Operational
- As a senior lead working internally and externally to deliver projects, initiatives and services to time and in a cost effective
- To support the identification and sharing of best practice in [discipline] to support service improvement.

Shortlisting Criteria:
Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (Chartered MCIPD) or able to evidence having commenced the upgrading process with CIPD or willing to undertake accreditation
Experienced in HR and OD Business Partnering, with the ability to translate organisational objectives into clear HR and OD deliverables and project, providing constructive challenge and support to line managers at all levels to improve line management standards.
Ability to identify risks, anticipate issues and create solutions and to resolve problems in relation to project or service delivery.
Ability to use informed persuasion to influence and negotiate effectively with others in potentially sensitive and contentious situations.

Secondments
Applicants from within the NHS will be offered on a secondment basis only, agreement should be obtained from their employer prior to submitting the application.
Salary Progression
Applicants will commence at the bottom of Band 8b with a full-time starting salary of £58,972, with a pay step increase after 5 years’ service.
For posts based in Inner London, the above salaries will include the additional supplement of 20% of basic salary, subject to a minimum payment of £5,132 per annum and a maximum payment of £7,746 per annum.
This is offered in accordance with NHS Terms and Conditions and is based on office location.
